Acclaimed Scottish singer-songwriter Kathryn Joseph returns with her fourth album “WE WERE MADE PREY.”, out on Mogwai’s Rock Action Records. Co-produced with her long time creative collaborator, multi-instrumentalist Lomond Campbell (One Little Independent Records), “WE WERE MADE PREY.” is both a reaction to and reprieve for the animal within. With raw, honest lyrics that speak of strength and truth, and rage and loss, the album asks - what does it take to give up the comfort of being wanted in order to want something, and what are the ramifications? Recorded at the remote Black Bay Studio in Scotland’s Outer Hebrides, “WE WERE MADE PREY.” is the follow up to 2022's lauded “for you who are the wronged”.
