    The iconic Kiwi kaiwaiata returns with her first new release in five years. Hollie Smith makes her triumphant return with the first track to be released from her upcoming 4th solo album.

    Packing plenty of heart and relevance, Coming in from the Dark is the sound of one emerging from a time of struggle and turmoil. Starting from a tender backdrop of a solitary slow-burning piano, Hollie then goes toe-to-toe with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra as the song builds into a towering swell of emotion.

    Hollie produced, directed and starred in the accompanying official video. The emotional black & white close up perfectly encapsulates the soulful energy of the waiata.

    Tender, triumphant and full of hope, Coming in from the Dark sees Hollie at her most dynamic and resolute. The track is released as a bilingual release, with a te reo Maori version titled Ko te hīnātoretanga.
