Description
Welcome to the Jira Query Language (JQL) training for Jira on-premise. This training is aimed at helping you improve your Jira skills. The course focuses on Jira on-premise installations, although it will be applicable to cloud installations in large part as well. Throughout the training, there will be sections with multiple choice questions for you to answer, in order to solidify your JQL knowledge as the course progresses.This course is aimed at those who are already using, or want to start using Jira software. JQL usage is a fundamental part of utilising Jira software. Some Jira experience as well as access to Jira software will be an advantage for this course, but is not required.We start by introducing Jira software and Jira Query Language. We will show you the different methods for searching for issues in Jira.You will then learn the basics of Jira Query Language; how to form queries and how to interpret errors in queries.You will also learn the order of operations in JQL queries, as well as other more advanced methods of searching, in order to form more complex queries for more robust results.Another useful skill that you will learn here is building Jira dashboards and creating reports with the use of JQL. We will share some tips and tricks, that will help you better understand Jira and its mysteries.
