    A children’s Christmas Story as told by a donkey that carried Mary to Bethlehem for the birth of Jesus. The story begins when Joseph was told to take another donkey instead of Durance. This name was assigned this donkey, because of being friendly. Durance was selected by Joseph anyhow. During their seven day journey to Bethlehem at a rest stop, the donkey spots a big snake and kicked it away. Mary asked what happened. Joseph replied, “Durance just saved us from what was probably the Devil as a snake. Durance kicked the snake so hard it will never return”. Mary replied, “Durance is a Godly donkey and now I know we are safe with him being with us”.
